To him she aged like fine wine and he wanted a taste.

Is age nothing but a number when dating? Maybe… but what if age wasn?t the only obstacle? What if the problem was the guy who sends your body blazing and makes all your nastiest and wildest dreams CUM true was your godson… then what?

Thirty-seven year old Tracy Moore has always doted on and cared for her godson Sam. It was always platonic and full of love until it wasn?t.

Twenty year old Sam has always had eyes for one woman for as long as he can remember… his godmom, Tracy. Add the fact that he?s got spicier sexual preferences, he?s got alot going against him in his pursuit of love, but who cares. He?s always vowed once he is old enough he?d LITERALLY tie her down and make it so she will NEVER leave his side. Age and familiar relationships be damned, he?ll have her and make her call him Daddy in the process.

Not a BDSM fan and subject matter made me uncomfortable. However, I like this author so I took a chance. What I found so funny was the dad when he found out his son was trying to get with “T-baby”. The hero’s parents use vernacular similar to the black culture, so for a minute I could not figure out if he was black or white. That was cleared up. And, oh my goodness, his mother was straight hood funny and also presented a problem with determining her ethnicity. The hero’s brother and father’s unrelenting advise on how to lock the heroine down was hilarious. And the way Rose Marie self promoted one of her related books was just funny. All in all, good character development and great editing. This book was not a bad way to waste COVID time.

Like Vine is about a twenty year old Sam who is in love with Godmother an older woman Tracy. Rose Marie is truly an author that exceeds boundaries with real life issues ingrained in all her books and Like Wine is no exception. I?ve laughed, cried, screamed and bit my pearls to the hottest scenes. Like Wine is Not for the faint of heart. Can not wait for Chris?s story.

Rose, Rose, Rose you did it again. You made another banger. I so love the dynamic of there relationship because I have a submissive side to me and this book spoke to me so hard to me especially hitting close to home with us black women being groomed to sick by our man side no matter what and thats not healthy especially if that man is not even worth it. I love that he was able to so her just because he was younger don’t mean that he did not take into account that he had to be up to par for her.
